Place of Origin: Shenzhen, China
Materials: Common materials: 304/316 stainless steel (corrosion-resistant), high-temperature alloys (e.g. Inconel)
Thread length (multiples): Expressed as a multiple of the nominal diameter of the thread (D)
Applicable Thread Types: matching female thread standards such as coarse (UNC/M), fine (UNF/MF) or special threads.
Surface Treatment: plating or passivation (e.g. silver plating to reduce friction, nickel plating to prevent rust, oxidation blackening) to enhance performance or environmental resistance.
Installation Tools: specialised types of tools: manual screw-in tools, electric/pneumatic actuators, or guiding mandrels adapted to different specifications.
Applications: Typical uses: aircraft engines (high temperature resistance), automotive cylinder blocks (vibration resistance), electronics (aluminium-magnesium alloy thread reinforcement).
Detail
Inch wire screw thread insert is a high-strength thread repar and enhancement components, using high-qualitstainless steel or high-temperature alloy steel wire precision winding and become a diamond-shaped cross-sectionhelical coil structure.
It is mainly used to repair damaged internal threads, enhance the strenath of threaded connections, or in soft materials(such as aluminium alloy, magnesium alloy, plastics, etc.) to form high-strength threaded holes, which are widely usedin aerospace, automotive, marine, industrial equipment and other fields.

1. Enhancement of thread strength
- Foms a wear-resistant, vibration-resistant thread structure in the soft substrate, significantly improving thethread's load-bearing capacity and fatigue resistance.
- Suitable for applications requiring frequent disassembly, extending the life of the base thread.
2. Standardised compatibility
- Conforms to British thread standards (e.g. UNC, UNF) and adapts to American standard bots (e.g. #4-40, 1/4-20. 3/8-16, etc.).
- Provide a variety of specifications (such as 0-80. 2-56. 10-32. etc,) to meet the needs of different imperiathreads.
3.Corrosion and high temperature resistance
- Materials can be selected from stainless steel (304/316), high temperature alloy (lnconel 718), etc., to adapt toharsh environments (such as humidity, high temperature, chemical corrosion).
4.Simplified maintenance process
- Damaged threaded holes do not need to be reamed or re-tapped, but can be restored to their original size andstrength by installing a wire thread insert.
1. Drill Bit
It is used for drilling the bottom hole for the installation of the screw sleeve. For the selection of the drilbit size, please refer to the drill bit diameter parameters on the subsequent pages.

2.Special Tap for "ST" Screw Sleeve
It is used for machining the threads of the bottom hole.
3.Special Tap with Spiral Flute for"ST" Thread Insert
It is used for processing the bottom hole thread and is suitable for tapping in blind holes.
4."ST" Bottom Hole Thread Plug Gauge
It is used to inspect the accuracy of the botom hole thread prior to installing the thread insert, ensuring precisealignment for blind hole applications.
5. Thread Insert Installation Wrench
Designed for installing thread inserts into tapped bottom holes. The insert is first pre-compressed through the guide thread inside the wrench sleeve, then securely threaded into the prepared hole.

6. Simple Installation Wrench
Designed for installing thread inserts into tapped bottom holes. The insert is first pre-compressed through the guide thread inside the wrench sleeve, then securely threaded into the prepared hole.

7. Motorized Installation Tool
Specifically engineered for high-volume installation of wire thread inserts in small componentsdelivering efficiency and consistency in precision assembly applications.

8. Tang Breaker
Used to remove the installation tang after thread insert installation, ensuring a flush finish in confined spaces.

9. Semi-Automatic Tang Breaker
Features a built-in high-tension spring mechanism that forcibly shears the installation tang through spring-driven impact, enabling single-handed operation in high-cycle production environments.

10. Thread Insert Removal Tool
Designed to safely extract failed or improperly installed thread inserts from tapped holes, utilizing a reverse-spiral flute design to minimize damage to the host threads during extraction.
